  I was pleasantly surprised with the food here.
  We were a bit unlucky I guess that the day we went they only had a special "race day" menu. I believe it was a St Paddy's day race.
  The corned beef and hash was really good though.
  Their beer selection is great and they serve each beer on their matching glass - a nice touch!
  Service was decent, no complaints.

  Honestly has to be my favorite restaurant in Minnesota. The food is good, but the atmosphere itself is what makes me love it so much. When you first walk in, it smells vaguely familiar, almost nostalgic in a way, and the music they play (around lunch time anyways) is always good. I always end up leaving happy and in a good mood for the rest of the day.

  A long established bar food type pub I. The excelsior area. Bar food is decent, and unlike many excelsior haunts it is not usually difficult to get a seat. Out door seating available when weather permits. If you are struggling to find a place to eat and have a brew and socialize, this isn't a bad option. There plenty better, but it works in time of need.
